Ethiopia: Ambassador apprises businessmen of opportunities
Pakistanis were managing textile, sugar, cement and steel concerns and some restaurants in Ethiopia, says Ambassador.

The Ambassador Designate of Pakistan to Ethiopia Ghulam Dastagir visited the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) head office on Wednesday and apprised them of Pakistan’s role in that country.
He said that Pakistanis were managing textile, sugar, cement and steel concerns and some restaurants in Ethiopia. The embassy was working for the promotion of Pakistani basmati rice in the Ethiopian market as well, and there were good opportunities in the fields of textile, cement, sugar, and pharmaceuticals, he said.
Dastagir assured the businessmen present that the banking sector in Ethiopia has a good reputation and trade is strictly operated through legal banking. He suggested sending a business delegation to the country to boost bilateral trade.
