Exchanging views: ‘For a better tomorrow, involve youth’

Journalists, political activists and other members of society stressed on the need for youth empowerment at a seminar on accountability and transparency, held at the Ghotki NDAV High School. The seminar was organised by the Sindh Community Foundation (SCF) and Mehran Resource Development Foundation (MRDF), in collaboration with Foundation for the Future on Thursday. The SCF executive director, Javed Soz, highlighted the abundance of natural resources in Ghotki while talking about the increase in unemployment in the area. He said that the youth makes up 73 per cent of the population but their representation in assemblies is negligible.
