Mendhro Khoso, a landlord, and his driver Mohammad Din Bugti were rescued by the police near Kashmore on Wednesday.
The police claim that they carried out a raid in the katcha area near Karampur on a tip-off. They said that the kidnappers opened fire at them when they entered the area and it continued for an hour. The suspects managed to escape and left the hostages behind. Khoso and his driver were abducted nearly one and a half month ago near Thul.
