SUKKUR:
A 22-year-old woman turned up at the Civil Lines police station in Jacobabad on Wednesday, claiming to have escaped kidnappers.
She identified herself as Anmol and said that she hailed from Sheikhupura. She told the police that she wanted to become a fashion model and had left home a few days back to go to Lahore by bus to pursue that career.
However, she said that she was kidnapped by some men from the bus stop in Sheikhupura and taken to an unknown place where she was sexually assaulted. The kidnappers then put her on a train to Quetta on Wednesday, but she managed to escape as the train stopped at the Jacobabad railway station.
The police noted that she changed her statement a few times. She also said that she was held captive in Larkana.
