Police encounter: Abducted businessman rescued
Managed to rescue Yousuf, a businessman, who was kidnapped from Tariq Road on February 27.

The authorities claim to have arrested a kidnapper but two of his accomplices managed to escape in an encounter on Wednesday.
The Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) and Citizens-Police Liaison Committee also managed to rescue Yousuf, a businessman, who was kidnapped from Tariq Road on February 27.
The FIR was registered at the Ferozabad police station but the case was transferred to the AVCC.
According to AVCC chief SP Ghulam Subhani, the kidnappers were demanding a ransom of Rs10 million but after negotiations with the family came down to five million rupees.
He said that the kidnappers were not new to this game and knew what they were doing as they kept changing the venue. At first they had asked the family to come to Burns Road then Kharadar and then Docks. According to a source in the AVCC, Lyari men were behind the kidnapping and Yousuf was being kept in Lyari.
