Court summons: SHC issues arrest warrant for Sindh’s finance secretary
Justice Shahid Anwar Bajwah and Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar issued the warrant after hearing a constitutional petition

A division bench of the Sindh High Court issued arrest warrant for the finance secretary on Wednesday. The bench ordered the Sindh IG to bring in the finance secretary and produce him in court on March 6.
Justice Shahid Anwar Bajwah and Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar issued the warrant after hearing a constitutional petition filed by the contract employees of public health engineering department.
Advocate for the petitioner, Qurban Ali Malano, said that the court had ordered the finance secretary to regularise the employees of the public health department in May 2010 but that has not happened. The court also summoned him twice before and he hasn’t shown up, he added.
