Balochistan violence: Another missing person returns home

He is the fifth missing person to have been released in four days.

QUETTA:

A Baloch missing person, who was allegedly picked up by government agencies in January, returned home in Nushki on Sunday.

Family members said Mahazullah had reached home safely. He was the fifth missing person to have been released in four days.

Meanwhile, a delegation of the European Union, led by its Islamabad-based Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, arrived in Quetta and held a meeting with human rights organisations and Baloch nationalists.

Wigemark attended a function organised by the Balochistan Rural Support Programme where he met acting president of Balochistan National Party (BNP) Jahanzaib Jamaldini.

A delegation from the Balochistan chapter of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, led by its deputy chairperson Tahir Hussain, also called on Wigemark to discuss human rights violations in the province, particularly the recovery of mutilated bodies, sources said.
