BAHAWALPUR/ KARACHI: The US congressional bill for an independent Balochistan was a direct interference in Pakistan’s internal matters, said Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chairman Fazlur Rehman on Sunday.
Speaking at a rally in Bahawalpur, Rehman questioned whether US will ever allow Pakistan to interfere in its internal matters.
“When we [Pakistan] will never be allowed to meddle in US affairs, US shouldn’t be allowed to do so either,” Rehman said.
While criticising US military presence in other countries, the JUI-F chairman accused it of taking over countries' resources.
“We have seen their performance in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya, they have failed to solve issues across the globe but they still want to meddle in Pakistan’s issues,” Rehman added.

America must learn to behave with maturity and not act as a shooter from the hip like a western cowboy movie. Any misadventure can cost world peace; never take chances with a nuclear power. When might is forced upon weaker and smaller nations that have the ability to hit back, reactions can be unpredictable and dangerous.

Maulana sahib (double barreled)! Are you not the same Maulana who requested the American ambassador, before the incumbent to, appoint you as the next Prime Minister? If it was not for the redoubtable Wikileaks we would still be in the dark of what is going on 'behind the scenes.' Stop killing people from other provinces who are doing well for your province. The Baluch sardars must abhor and sweep away the ruinous traditions of their fiefdoms and merge with the nation, drop the title of 'sardar' and combining their wealth with the federal government development funds, build schools, fair price shops, clinics, roads and welfare projects for the denizens of their areas. As for the American resolution, muslims don’t use tissue paper. Salams
@G. Din: Your reply is certainly filled with genius. Peace to our world.
@DevilHunterX: No that goes on. Because that is Pakistan interfering in India's Internal matters and being the hypocrite that pakistanis are, it is expected.
how can u talk against america, when wikileaks have revealed ur true face. You can,t make all the people fool all the time.
@Truth Teller:
How many countries like US, has that stopped them from doing what they do to countries, they have brought "democracy" to Iraq, Afghanistan and now pakistan or may be Iran. Dont worry about people liking us, worry about your existance and survival.
Not sure why everyone keeps referring to this as a US bil. It is not a US bil it is a resolution (which by the way did not pass). Bil if passed becomes a law. A resolution has not executive value i.e. it is not like a law which needs t be implemented.
And what about Feb 5 - Kashmir day?
Pakistan meddling in US affairs???? Pakistan is a veritable treasure trove of awful clowns!!!!
Mullah is right. Why cannot Pakistan interfere in US of A's internal affairs? Think!! Well when you find the answer, you would know answer to Balochistan's problem too.
Maulana Sahib, Smell the Coffee! It's 21st Century not Stone Ages! Nobody & I mean nobody in the world likes us whereas we are still living in Cuckoo World. For God sake wake up before we lose everything.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman:
You should be grateful to few US politicians who were preparing to submit a bill in the Congress about Baluchistan's independence.
This particular move have not only awaken you from the deep sleep but the entire government machinery and the politicians.
Since you people have woke up on the Baluchistan matter, I would request you not to put the Baluchistan issue again on the back burner as has been going on since independence of Pakistan, after issuing some statements to the print and electronic media, as politicians of Pakistan are more fond to remain in the limelight in the print and electronic media, comparing to the Stage, Radio, TV and Film Artists.
lets now wait for articles by 'patriotic' readership of ET, in favour of this bill....
the majority of the talkshows in recent weeks have reeked of blatant and vile racism.all the anchors and 'experts' have been condemning and screaming about the balochi dead and they have left no stone unturned in portraying repeatedly punjabis as evil villains who are responsible for everything that goes wrong in the world.all the sympathy has been for the leaders of the militant groups operating in balochistan who have been murdering people simply because they were non-baloch.no coverage for the victims of the militant groups, their murders have been deliberately been ignored by the news media.there seems an understanding amongst the anchors and reporters that it's not racism if you abuse, vilify and dehumanise punjabis,it's only racism and bigotry when a non-punjabi is insulted.these double standards by the anchors must end.mudslinging and racist bigotry against one community only reeks of bias and prejudice on the part of the media.
sigh.....why are we still panicking over a worthless bill?
