Financial Incentives: Annual stipend announced for students
Pir Mazharul Haq announced that the govt to launch a programme to pay an annual stipend of Rs1,000 to female students.

The education and literacy minister, Pir Mazharul Haq, announced that the government will launch a programme to pay an annual stipend of Rs1,000 to the female students from class one to five. Speaking at a ceremony at the Government Girls Degree College, Gizri the minister said the government has ensured the provision of free textbooks, wheat and cooking oil to the students. A cash prize of Rs200,000 was announced for two position holders of the college.
