In Dire Straits: HRCP Balochistan seeks urgent help
Vice Chairman HRCP demanded immediate recovery of the victim.

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) Balochistan chapter expressed strong resentment over the deteriorating law and order situation in the province, while urging the federal government to pay serious attention to retain law and order. Addressing a press conference at the Quetta Press Club on Friday, Vice Chairman HRCP Tahir Hussain stated the province is witnessing a sharp rise in kidnapping for ransom cases and highway hold-ups. He further said that minorities were not adequately protected. “Dr Nand Lal’s son Rajish Kumar had been kidnapped from Zarghoon Road in broad daylight a few days ago, but his whereabouts are still unknown.” He demanded immediate recovery of the victim. Hussain also expressed concern over the recovery of decomposed bodies and incidents of target killings in Balochistan.
