A group of senior human resource officials from Pakistani power distribution companies will travel to Washington DC and Baltimore from February 27 to March 2 to visit US power utilities and meet with their US counterparts in an exchange tour organised by the US.


“The US Government is committed to assist the Pakistan in improving the power distribution system in the country,” said Melissa Knight, Energy Office Director at the US Agency for International Development Mission to Pakistan. During their visit, the officials will have an opportunity to observe operations at several well-run power utilities.

The programme will include presentations, site visits and roundtable discussions to address topics related to human resource management, training, and change management.
