Treatment for dengue: Construction of modern unit begins
Hospital officials told the meeting participants that the facility would be completed at a cost of Rs 99million.

The construction of a modern high dependency unit for treatment of dengue patients began at Nishtar Hospital on Tuesday. This was announced by the hospital spokesman on Tuesday at a meeting with Commissioner Khurram Agha. The hospital officials told the meeting participants that the facility would be completed at a cost of Rs 99million. The commissioner directed the district administration officials to finalise anti-dengue brigades at each district. He also informed the meeting that land was being allocated for the construction of Daanish School in Multan, while the five-marla residential schemes for homeless people was also being finalised.
