Van accident: 10 women, 4 men killed as vehicle falls into ditch

A passenger van, on its way to Sirikot from Haripur, slipped off the track and fell into a 60 feet deep ditch, killing 15 of its passengers, and injuring 10 others on Monday.

Rescue workers have rushed to the spot and are busy evacuating those trapped in the rubble.
However, the ditch’s depth and darkness in the area made rescue efforts difficult.
The injured were shifted to Haripur District Hospital. However those critically injured were shifted to the Ayub Medical Hospital in Abbottabad.
