District bar association: New office bearers take oath
Justice Manzur Ahmed Malik of LHC administrated oaths from the newly elected DBA office bearers

“The promotion of amiable relationship between the bar and the bench is vital to ensure early and smooth provision of justice to the oppressed and the needy people,” Justice Manzur Ahmed Malik of Lahore High Court (LHC) said on Monday. He was addressing the participants at the oath taking ceremony of the District Bar Association (DBA) held at the Anwar Club Auditorium. Additional district and sessions judges, civil judges and DBA Sialkot President Advocate Shahid Mir were present at the occasion. Justice Malik said that being a lawyer was a sacred profession. Junior lawyers, he said, should learn from the experiences of their senior colleagues. Earlier, he also administrated the oaths from the newly elected DBA office bearers including DBA President Advocate Mir.
