Inauguration: KU VC gets candid at event
Prof Dr Muhammad Qaiser said that problems faced by his university are not insurmountable.

The newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the University of Karachi (KU), Prof Dr Muhammad Qaiser said that problems faced by his university are not insurmountable. He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the ‘Chandi Hall’ at the department of microbiology on Sunday. The project was designed by a KU aluminus, Nargis Latif, who is currently the chief trustee of Gul Bahao, an NGO. Qaiser acknowledged that KU was facing financial difficulties and thus required government assistance.
