Juventus hit back to beat 10-man Catania 3-1 at home in the Serie A.
ROME:
Juventus hit back to beat 10-man Catania 3-1 at home in the Serie A. Pablo Barrientos gave the Sicilians, who had Marco Motta dismissed in the second half, a shock early lead but goals from Andrea Pirlo, Giorgio Chiellini and Fabio Quagliarella secured the three points for Juve. The win ended a run of two straight 0-0 draws for Antonio Conte’s men. “We have always played our game,” said Pirlo. “It’s just that on the last few occasions we struggled to score, so the three points were important.” Meanwhile, Lecce beat Siena 4-1.
