Golf: Munir claims golf title
Munir continued his excellent form to claim the Rashid D Habib Golf Tournament.

Islamabad’s Mohammad Munir continued his excellent form to claim the Rashid D Habib Golf Tournament title, edging out favourite Shabbir Iqbal at the Karachi Golf Club yesterday. Starting the final day with a gross of 138, Munir excelled again to score 66 and returned with an aggregate of 204. Shabbir, who was leading the table by one point, struggled in the third round and scored an unimpressive 68, slipping to second position with a total of 205. Nadeem Inayat and Mohammad Safdar finished joint-third with identical cards of 210 after three days of competition. Meanwhile, Ghulam Nabi claimed the senior professional event with a gross of 147 points.
