KARACHI:
The Indian boxing authority has invited its neighbours for a one-night invitational event in New Delhi likely to take place on March 12, according to the Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF).
“We will be visiting Delhi for an event and we have informed the Indian officials that we’re interested in taking them on in five weight categories,” PBF Secretary Akram Khan told The Express Tribune before a scheduled meeting to be held to finalise the details. “We’re currently finalising the list of five boxers and their categories because we don’t want to lose to India.” Thirteen boxers are currently taking part in a preparatory camp for the Asian Qualifiers in Islamabad.
