Travelling expo: Nine day event kicks off in Multan
Theme of the Expo this year was Chemistry and its role in everyday life.

A nine-day International Traveling Expo on Chemistry begun at Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan on Monday.
A press statement said the event was meant to highlight the importance of Science education. It said the theme of the Expo this year was Chemistry and its role in everyday life. The Expo has been organised jointly by Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Embassy of France and the BZU.
Speaking at the occasion, His Excellency French Ambassador to Pakistan Philippe Theiboud said exhibitions and workshops could be helpful in drawing youngsters towards natural sciences. He said in France science education was taken very seriously right from the primary school level. He said this enabled students to develop problem solving skills early on in their lives. The ambassador assured the gathering of support by his Office for Higher Education in research ventures.
The expo titled It’s all About Chemistry is in Pakistan from January to March.
