Sports day: Fun and games at ACE academy
The atmosphere was electric with children thriving to win the sports’ competitions.
ISLAMABAD:
Saturday at ACE International Academy in Bahria Town was full of fun, games and activities as the school held its annual sports day.
The atmosphere was electric with children thriving to win the sports’ competitions.
The day started with a march past of 25 International flags, representing the countries of the students studying at ACE.
Next on line was the most awaited colourful field formation by the whole school welcoming the audience to the Annual ACE Sports Day 2012.
The most famous dance club performed vibrant and dynamic dances which were eagerly awaited by the audience. Both primary and secondary students participated with full vigour in the obstacle races.
The school’s taekwondo club displayed special acts, amidst spirited applause. Parents supported this event by enthusiastically taking part in the very popular tug of war and mommy musical chairs.
At the end, the winners were appreciated with gold, silver and bronze medals, while all participants were encouraged by distribution of certificates. To top it all, delicious food was available on the venue throughout the day to keep the taste buds active and going.
