Corruption: Cop arrested for taking bribe
Complain stated that SHO asked for payment of Rs10,000 in a case.
FAISALABAD:
Balochni police station house officer was arrested on corruption charges by the Anti Corruption Establishment on Saturday. SHO Dilbar Husain was caught taking a bribe by Anti-Corruption Establishment Circle Officer Faisal Aziz and Judicial Magistrate Faheem who had already been informed about the meeting by complainant Jaffar. Jaffar had submitted in his complaint that the SHO was asking him to pay Rs10,000 in a case. The raiding team recovered the money and sent the SHO to district jail after registration of a case.
