Appointment: Muhammad Tariq Anis to head ZTBL

Anis has previously served as a member of the National Assembly (NA-116 Narowal-II).

ISLAMABAD: The government has appointed Muhammad Tariq Anis as chairman of the Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited, according to an official notification. The spot had been vacant ever since Zaka Ahsraf left the bank to chair the Pakistan Cricket Board. Anis who belongs to the ruling PPPP has previously served as a member of the National Assembly (NA-116 Narowal-II) and as a member of the Punjab provincial assembly. He has also served as state minister for housing and works and been a member of the standing committee on production.
