Crime: Armed men abduct widow’s daughter
Three armed persons abducted a girl at gunpoint in Batal on Thursday.
Hasan Jana told the police that she was asleep with her children when at around 11pm, Gul Muhammad, his son Muhammad Iqbal and Musalman, armed with Kalashnikovs and pistols, barged into her house and kidnapped her 13-year-old daughter Gulnaz Bibi.
She tried to put up resistance but they threatened to kill her children. The complainant said she suspected Gul Muhammad wanted to forcibly marry her daughter to his son but she did not wish to accept the proposal. The police have registered a criminal case.
