A woman was shot and injured for resisting abduction bid in the Airport area on Tuesday. Police sources said that Shaista Saleem was returning home along with her two sons when two armed men in a car stopped near them and tried to push her sons in their vehicle. The armed men opened fire at Shaista and fled when she resisted them, police added. A case has been registered under relevant law.
