Balochistan unrest: Three pipelines blown up in Dera Bugti

Attackers had planted explosives along the pipelines, says police.

Unidentified men blew up three pipelines supplying gas to the purification plant in the Loti area of Dera Bugti on Monday.

According to police sources, the attackers had planted explosives along the pipelines which were later exploded through a remote control. Consequently, supply of natural gas from wells no 1, 3 and 6 to the purification plant was suspended.

Soon after the incident, local administration along with security officials reached the site and started investigation into the attack.
