Scrabble: Khatri defends ranking title
Waseem Khatri successfully defended his title at the sixth Ranking Scrabble Tournament.

Waseem Khatri successfully defended his title at the sixth Ranking Scrabble Tournament that took place at the Beach Luxury Hotel on Sunday. The national champion won seven matches with a spread of 621, outplaying Tariq Pervez, who also won seven matches but lost to Khatri with a three-point spread-deficit of 619. Meanwhile, Inayatullah finished third after winning six matches. Earlier, the tournament also witnessed a huge upset when 14-year-old Moizullah Baig got the better of the experienced Khatri.
