New administration: DCET forms management committee

Dr Muhammad Nasim, adviser to the DCET principal, will serve as its convener.

KARACHI: The principal of Dawood College of Engineering and Technology (DCET), Dr Muhammad Ali Shaikh, announced Friday the formation of a seven-member college management committee to look after students’ problems, administrative and financial matters.

Dr Muhammad Nasim, a professor at the department of metallurgy and materials engineering and adviser to the DCET principal, will serve as its convener.

Faculty of Engineering Dean Rashid Baig, Dean of Architecture Ghulam Muhammad Nawaz, Registrar Ghulam Shabbir Bughio, Acting Treasurer Imdad Ali Memon, Controller of Examinations Ghulam Muhammad Bhayo, and PS to the principal, Shakir Hussain, would be members of the committee.
