Questionable motives: Man injures imambargah’s guard
Officials said that Noor Amin shot and injured the Madinatul Imambargah security guard, Jaffar Ali.
KARACHI:
A person suspected of shooting and injuring the security guard of an imambargah was arrested in an alleged encounter with the police, near NIPA Chowrangi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Wednesday. Officials said that Noor Amin shot and injured the Madinatul Imambargah security guard, Jaffar Ali, after snatching his weapon. According to SP Salam Sheikh, it is not confirmed whether Amin had planned an attack on the imambargah or was only after the weapon.
