Immunisation Drive: Fight against polio begins in K-P, FATA
A three-day national immunisation campaign started on Monday in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

A three-day national immunisation campaign started on Monday in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata). Up to 5.7 million children in the former and 0.9 million in Fata would be vaccinated in the year’s first drive, an official said. Jan Baz Afridi, Expanded Programme on Immunisation (EPI)’s deputy director told the media that the campaign will continue till February 1. As many as 17,000 teams have been formed to administer polio shots to all children up to the age of five.
