Transfers and postings: NEPRA member’s resignation accepted

Privatisation Commission Director General Liaqat Ali, a BS-21 DMG officer, shall stand retired on April 14.

The government has accepted the resignation of National Electric Power Regularity Authority Member Maqbool Ahmed Khwaja, with effect from January 12, according to a notification issued by the Establishment division on Monday.


On attaining the age of superannuation, Muhammad Ramazan Channa, a BS-21 Police Service of Pakistan officer presently with the Sindh Government, will stand retired from service on March 8. Similarly,

Privatisation Commission Director General Liaqat Ali, a BS-21 District Management Group (DMG) officer, shall stand retired on April 14.

Kamran Ali Afzal, a BS-19 DMG officer presently posted at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, was transferred and posted as Finance Division deputy secretary.

A Aziz Qureshi, a BS-20 officer of planning and Development Division, has been transferred and posted as the Capital Development Authority’s Planning member on deputation.

Water and Power Ministry Chief Finance and Accounts Officer Sajid Ali Nadeem, a BS-20 Audit and Accounts officer, was transferred to the University of Health Sciences in Lahore.

Ehsan Sadiq, a BS-19 PSP officer, presently posted in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) under the Interior Ministry, was elevated to BS-20.

United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNMID) Coordination Officer Sultan Azam Temuri, a BS-19 PSP officer, has been recalled, while
Agha Wasif Abbas, a BS-19 DMG officer posted in
Sindh, has been transferred and posted as Trading Corporation of Pakistan Finance Director.

National Construction Limited Finance Manager Ghazala Shahid has been removed from her deputation posting as Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal director.

Kamran Ali Afzal, a BS-19 DMG officer, was transferred and posted as Finance Division deputy secretary.
