Police say no FIR against Dost Khosa
February 3 set as the next date for arguments.
LAHORE:
Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Nazeer Ahmed, on Monday, fixed February 3 as the next date for arguments on a petition seeking a copy of an FIR registered against former chief minister Dost Muhammad Khosa and his cronies for allegedly abducting and murdering his former wife Sapna Khan.
A police official appeared before the court, on behalf of the Race Course SHO, following a show cause notice served on him for not submitting detailed para-wise comments. He said that they (the police) had in fact submitted para-wise comments on January 16.
In the para-wise comments, a copy of which was made available to The Express Tribune, the police stated that they had neither registered a case against Khosa nor sealed any FIR. The SHO said that the Race Course police station was not the concerned police station.
Petitioner Missal Khan had contended in his petition that he was told by police officials that an FIR had been registered against Khosa but it had been sealed.
