Valencia substitute Aritz Aduriz scored twice to help his side earn a hard-fought 2-2 draw away at Racing Santander. The home side went ahead in the second minute when Adrian Gonzalez turned home a delightful pass from Pedro Munitis from close range. Valencia came into the game more in the second period and Aduriz scored on 66 and 79 minutes with a left-footed shot and a header to give his side the lead. However, Bernardo Espinosa grabbed an equaliser for Santander with a header on 88 minutes. Valencia remain third in the La Liga standings ahead of Levante, who lost 2-1 at home to Getafe.
