Accident: 18 female labourers injured in crash
Labourers sustained serious injuries when a van overturned near Vehari.
KHANEWAL:
A total of eighteen female daily wage labourers sustained serious injuries when a van overturned near Vehari on Friday. According to DHQ Hospital sources, dozens of labourers from Chak 81-82/10R were heading to Vehari on a van to pick cotton from an agriculture field when the van overturned near Khanewal-Vehari road. The injured women were shifted to the Khanewal District Headquarters Hospital. Police officials have registered a case against the driver who fled the scene.
