Tennis: Hamza cruises past Malik in U17 event
Hamza defeated Dawar Malik 6-4, 6-1. In the boys’ under-15 event, Ibrahim Iltifat beat Raza Sawani 6-4, 6-4.
Malik Hamza made a bright start to his campaign at the 17th Sindh Tennis Association Development Series Ranking tournament with a first-round win in the juniors’ under-17 event. Hamza defeated Dawar Malik 6-4, 6-1. In the boys’ under-15 event, Ibrahim Iltifat beat Raza Sawani 6-4, 6-4. Meanwhile, in the boys’ under-11 competition, Waqas Ali beat Maza Hanif 8-0 and Moiz Zulfiqar defeated Arham by the same score-line.
