ROME:
Juventus maintained their unbeaten record in all competitions this season as they overwhelmed a full strength AS Roma 3-0 in their Italian Cup quarter-final. Emanuele Giaccherini sent Juve, who had fielded a second-string side for the match, on their way in the sixth minute as the Italian international beat the offside trap to score the opening goal. Veteran Alessandro Del Piero doubled the lead in the 30th minute before Fabio Quagliarella set up Alessandro Matri for Juventus’s third goal in the final minute of the match.
