Senate Elections: MQM convenes Coordination Committee meetings
Meetings were held in Karachi and London, to shortlist potential candidates.

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) Coordination Committee met on Tuesday to discuss the names of candidates for the upcoming Senate elections.
According to a press release issued by the party, the meeting was chaired by deputy conveners Dr Farooq Sattar and Anis Ahmed Qaimkhani. The statement said that potential candidates recommended by various wings of the party were discussed during the meeting.
The Coordination Committee in London also met to discuss names. Candidates will be shortlisted and finalised in the next meeting.
