The cross-Line of Control (LoC) Muzaffarabad-Srinagar bus service's scheduled recommencement on Monday was put off again due to apprehension of landslides on the historic Muzaffarabad-Srinagar highway in Chakothi-Uri Sector following heavy snowfall, according to official sources.
The bus service also known as the Karavan-e-Aman (peace bus) was launched in April 2005 to facilitate people belonging to Kashmiri families living on either side of the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir. It had to be cancelled last week due to snowfall, the sources said.
