Hockey: WAPDA crowned junior champion

Wapda clinched the 31st National U21 Junior Hockey Championship, defeating NBP 1-0 in the final that saw a tough battle for glory between the two teams. The first half saw an intense game as both teams missed multiple scoring opportunities. The winner came in the 43rd minute courtesy Asad, who converted a penalty corner. Earlier, SSGC defeated Punjab Colours 3-2 to claim third position. Wapda took home the winning trophy along with prize money of Rs50,000.
