Mysterious assailants: Police ASI shot dead in Quetta
A case has been registered to identify and arrest the unknown persons and investigations are under way.
QUETTA:
An assistant sub inspector (ASI) was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Zarghonabad area of Quetta on Sunday. According to police, armed men opened fire at a police van belonging to the Zhargonabad police station. As a result, ASI Habibullah was seriously injured. He succumbed to his injuries en route to the Combined Military Hospital and was pronounced dead upon arrival by the doctors. A case has been registered to identify and arrest the unknown persons and investigations are under way.
