Cycling: Sameer wins IG Highways race
Sameer completed the 20-kilometre challenge in 19 minutes and 46 seconds.
KARACHI:
Sameer Ahmed saw off competition from a field of 100 cyclists to win the IG Highways Cycle Race in Karachi. Sameer completed the 20-kilometre challenge, which started from Sohrab Goth and culminated at Mauripur Road, in 19 minutes and 46 seconds. M Miandad secured second position and Wazeer Ahmed finished third. The race was organised by the Sindh Cycling Association in collaboration with the Motorway Police.
