Twin tragedy: Conjoined twins pass away
Dr Jamal Raza of NICH said that the case was very complicated.
KARACHI:
The conjoined twins born at Shaikh Zaid Hospital for Women in Larkana passed away on Sunday. They were born to Wajida, who was a resident of Nau Goth in Mehar taluka, at Shaikh Zaid Hospital for Women in Larkana on last Thursday. Dr Mahesh Kumar of the Chandka Medical College said that the twins shared a liver and a heart. He had advised the parents to take the babies to National Institute of Child Health (NICH) Karachi and the parents brought them to Karachi on Saturday. Dr Jamal Raza of NICH said that the case was very complicated. The babies were Wajida and Mazhar’s first borns.
