Burnt: Factory worker killed in fire
A man identified as 22-year-old Mulazim Hussain was burnt to death.
KARACHI:
A man identified as 22-year-old Mulazim Hussain was burnt to death when a garment factory in New Karachi Industrial Area Sector 5-E caught on fire on Saturday, said the Bilal Colony police. The fire brigade said it took two hours to extinguish the fire. The factory owner Mohammad Saleem said that Hussain was alone when the fire broke out due to a short circuit. Around 10 machines were also damaged in the fire. Hussain was a machine operator from Rahim Yar Khan and was taken to Civil Hospital, Karachi.
