A man was shot dead over a monetary dispute while another was killed in a road accident
HARIPUR:
A man was shot dead over a monetary dispute while another was killed in a road accident on Wednesday. Adnan Qureshi, 20, son of Shafiqur Rehman Qureshi, was killed after being hit by a speeding truck on GT Road near Sera-e-Saleh, police said. Adnan was on his way to Haripur on a motorbike when he was hit by a loaded dumper truck, killing him on the spot, police added. Eyewitnesses said the truck driver lost control of the vehicle after grazing a motorcar coming from the opposite direction and then collided with the motorcycle. Meanwhile, Saeedur Rehman was shot dead over a monetary dispute in Langra Havelian village. Police said Rehman had a scuffle with Javed who shot him multiple times. He was taken to the Havelian civil hospital where he died of injuries.
