Sindh Assembly passes pro-democracy resolution
The resolution, supporting democracy, passed unanimously.
The pro-democracy resolution was passed unanimously in Sindh Assembly on Wednesday, reported Express News.
The resolution was moved last week by the ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan in the National Assembly, following the Supreme Court (SC) warning government on the NRO issue.
Briefing the media afterwards, Farooq Sattar had said that the MQM Rabita Committee, after consulting constitutional experts, had decided to fully support ANP’s resolution.
The resolution has already been passed unanimously by the Punjab Assembly, which stated that all political parties in the assembly favour the continuity and stability of democracy.
