Snooker: Trump sets up O’Sullivan clash

Trump knocked down four frames in a row as he beat Stuart Bingham 6-3.

LONDON:
Judd Trump knocked down four frames in a row as he beat Stuart Bingham 6-3 to secure a quarter-final tie against Ronnie O’Sullivan in the Masters Tournament. Bingham edged ahead twice, first with a 2-1 lead and then a 3-2 advantage, but Trump took complete control thereafter. The 2011 UK Championship winner produced a run of four frames, including a break of 121 in the seventh, to close out the match. “I’ll probably have to improve by 50 per cent if I want to beat O’Sullivan,” said Trump. “I cannot give him the kind of chances I gave Bingham.”
