Market access: Czech delegation promises support

Czech Republic can facilitate Pakistan’s entry into Central Asian and Eastern European markets, according to the president of the Czech Middle Asian Chamber of Commerce (CSOK), Jiri Nastaval.
Nastaval was speaking as the official representative of the Czech Republic in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), in a meeting with delegates of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).
He expressed his country’s desire to foster trade cooperation and to engage in mutually beneficial joint ventures with Pakistan including and beyond the traditional areas of energy, infrastructure and technical assistance.
According to Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry Vice-President Usman Sheikh, Pak-Czech trade currently stands at $39 million and has tremendous potential for growth.
