Judo: Islamia University bag two golds
Bahawalpur bagged two gold medals at the All-Pakistan Inter-University Judo Championship.
ISLAMABAD:
Students representing Islamia University (IU) Bahawalpur bagged two gold medals at the All-Pakistan Inter-University Judo Championship held at the Pakistan Sport Complex yesterday. Javeria claimed the top prize in the 44-kg category while Samina bagged IU’s second gold in the 52-kg event. Meanwhile, Quaid-i-Azam University’s Safia finished top in the 40-kg category and Wafa won a gold medal for Government College Faisalabad in the 48-kg event. Students from Frontier University, Punjab University and Fatima Jinnah University also participated in the competition.
