Balochistan unrest: 4 people abducted in Barkhan

Four people were on their way in a car from Dera Gazi Khan to Quetta, when unidentified armed men abducted them.

Armed men abducted four people near Barkhan district on Sunday.



According to police, four people were on their way in a car from Dera Gazi Khan to Quetta, when unidentified armed men intercepted their vehicle near Chori Bridge.

The car was later found abandoned in the area. The kidnapped persons were identified as Ghafoor Khan, National Bank Manager Cantt Branch, Abdul Shakoor, a lecturer in Khuzdar College, Yasir and Jabar. Meanwhile, in another incident of violence, armed men opened fire on a security guard at Jam Colony in Hub. He died during the course of treatment at a hospital.
