Paying tribute: Police cycle race set for Jan 22
‘Pakistan Open Great Sindh Police Saeed Butt, Safeer Butt Anti-Narcotics Cycle Race’ will be held on January 22.

The first ‘Pakistan Open Great Sindh Police Saeed Butt, Safeer Butt Anti-Narcotics Cycle Race’ will be held on January 22. The race is named after the Butt brothers of the Sindh police and aims to raise morale against terrorism and the use of narcotics. “The Butt brothers were killed in terrorist attacks on July 13, 1995 and on December 25, 2011,” said the Pakistan Adventure Cycling Association’s Malik Kaleem Ahmad Awan. Cash rewards and trophies will be given to the top three cyclists. The race will start from the gate of Quaid’s mausoleum.
