Burn victim: Baby crawls into flames
Mother had lit a fire to keep her daughter warm and briefly left her to go to the kitchen.
BAHAWALPUR:
A one-year-old girl was burned and shifted to the hospital in critical condition on Saturday. According to police officials, Kot Sabzal resident Shabina had lit a fire to keep her daughter warm and briefly left her to go to the kitchen. Meanwhile, the baby shifted and caught fire. By the time Shabina and her family managed to put out the fire with a bucket of water the child had been badly burnt. The toddler was shifted to Sheikh Zayed hospital where doctor’s say her condition is critical. Police officials have registered a case but termed the incident to have been an accident.
